Irma Dorantes (born December 21, 1934) is a Mexican actress, singer, and dancer who is best known for her work in the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She began her career as a child actress in the 1940s and went on to star in numerous films throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
Dorantes is often associated with her frequent collaborations with the legendary Mexican actor and singer, Pedro Infante. The two starred in several popular films together, most notably "Escuela de Vagabundos" and "Angelitos Negros."
In addition to her film work, Dorantes has also released several albums as a singer and has performed in numerous stage productions. She has received several awards for her contributions to Mexican cinema and continues to be a well-respected figure in the entertainment industry.
